Family Meals – Eat Healthy Together!

Dinner is the time when everyone is back at home after a long day, and you are expecting a good meal with your family. If you are a wife, then know that your husband will be looking forward to you to cook something of his choice and that too delicious. There are too many varieties in dinner which you can learn and cook different meals every night. The recipes will keep your family healthy as well as their stomachs filled with yummy meals.

Tomato Base Chicken Gumbo Stew

Cooking time: 30 minutes
Servings: 2-3 servings

Oil – ¼ cup
Flour (all-purpose)- ¼ cup
Bell pepper – 1
Onion (chopped)- 1
Chicken (chopped, breast) – 2 cups
Mushrooms- 4.5 ounce
Tomatoes – diced, 4.5 ounce
Sauce (any) – 2 tsp.
Garlic cloves – 3
Soy sauce – 1 tsp.
Sugar (white) – 1 tsp.
Salt and pepper to taste
Hot sauce – 3 drops

Cooking Instructions:
1. Get a pan and heat the oil in it. Add flour in it and let it cook until it turns thick. Now lower the heat and then add onions and bell pepper. Stir them all together for 10 minutes and put the lid on it to cook on reduced heat.
2. Add the chicken in it with the tomatoes, mushrooms, garlic cloves, sauces both hot and any other, sugar, salt and pepper to taste. Now mix them all together to cook for 20 minutes and then it is ready to serve in a bowl.

 

Chicken Chinese Fried Rice

Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 3 to 4 servings

Eggs (1-2)
Water (1 Tablespoon)
Vegetable oil (1 Tablespoon)
Finely Chopped Onion (1)
Cold Cooked White Rice (2 Cups)
Soy Sauce (2 Tablespoons)
Black Pepper, Ground (1 Teaspoon)
Chicken Meat Chopped and Cooked (1 Cup)

Cooking Instructions:
1. Take a small bowl, pour some water into it and mix an egg in it. Beat the mixture well. Set the stove over medium-low heat, use a skillet and melt butter in it. Add the egg and let it stay in the skillet for a minute or two. Remove the mixture from skillet and cut it all into shredded pieces.
2. Pour some oil in the similar skillet and when the oil is slightly warmed up, add sauté and onion until they’re soft and tender. Once done, time to add the major ingredient chunk; chicken, pepper, rice and soy sauce. Stir fry the mixture for about 4 to 5 minutes and then add the shredded egg. Serve pan-hot.

 

Roasted Chicken Dinner Treat

Cooking time: 30 minutes
Servings: 2 to 3 servings

Olive oil – 3 tbsp.
Onion (chopped) – 1 tbsp.
Garlic (chopped) – 1 clove
Thyme (dried) – 1 tsp.
Rosemary (dried) – ½ tsp.
Sage (powder) – ¼ tsp.
Marjoram (dried) – ¼ tsp.
Salt and pepper to taste
Hot pepper sauce – 1/8 tsp.
Chicken breast – 4 pieces
Parsley – 1 ½ tbsp.

Cooking Instructions:
1. Heat the oven to 400 F. On the other side, get a bowl and mix the following ingredients such as thyme, sage, salt and pepper, olive oil, garlic, marjoram, onion, rosemary and hot pepper sauce. Stir them well.
2. Add the chicken breast into the sauce and cover it with it.
3. Prepare the baking dish and put the sauce chicken breast on it by placing it in the oven for about 20 minutes. When ready, take it out and sprinkle parsley on it. Now it is ready to serve!
